Videos on Centering and Using Voice Tone Can Now be Found on YouTube
The VTI is in the process of creating ‘how-to’ videos. So far we have created 4 videos. Three are on centering and one is on using voice tone to encourage engagement.

Die Doku gibt einen auszugsweisen Einblick in eine ganztägige Lehrveranstaltung “Validation nach Naomi Feil” im Rahmen des Erweiterungscurriculums Public Health und Palliative Care für Bachelor Studierende der Alpen-Adria Universität Klagenfurt / Austria.
English translation: This live documentary is part of the film project “DEMENTIA: Encounter in other worlds” initiated by the Austrian Institute for Validation. The documentary gives a partial insight into a full-time course “Validation nach Naomi Feil” within the scope of the extension curriculum Public Health and Palliative Care for Bachelor students of the Alpen-Adria University Klagenfurt / Austria.

Rita Altman, R.N., M.S.N., C.V.M., is the Senior Vice President, Memory Care & Program Services, for Sunrise Senior Living. She is one of ten Validation Masters worldwide, and studied under Naomi Feil, who developed the Validation Method. She has contributed to and authored articles for nursing and trade journals and has spoken on the topic of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias both nationally and internationally. Rita is a contributor to the Huffington Post. Her articles offer information on dementia and how to you can use basic Validation techniques with your loved ones.
