- Each lesson should take a little more than 1 hour every week
- Videos, quizzes, and case studies are used asynchronously
- Each Lesson ends with a 30-60-minute zoom webinar led by a certified Validation Teacher. Choose one or both of the following dates:
Lesson 1 Webinars: April 9 and 12
Lesson 2 Webinars: April 16 and 19
Lesson 3 Webinars: April 23 and 26
Lesson 4 Webinars: April 30 and May 3
Lesson 5 Webinars: May 7 and 10
The AAFP has reviewed Validation for Medical Professionals and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Validation for Medical Professionals is approved for 7.5 credits for AAFP Prescribed credits.
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
