Validation for Medical Professionals is approved for 7.5 credits for AAFP Prescribed credits.

This training in the Validation method is focused on the needs of physicians and all medical professionals. It was developed with two physicians and an expert in online education and pedagogy. It’s proven to be an effective way to build new insights and skills that will make your work more fulfilling every day.

Registration cost: $200. There is a 50% refund for participants who complete all elements of the course, pre- and post-surveys, plus take part in a post training focus group.

Description

5 Lessons: all online

  • Each lesson should take a little more than 1 hour every week
  • Videos, quizzes and case studies are used asynchronously
  • Each Lesson ends with a 30-60 minute zoom webinar led by a certified Validation Teacher. Choose one or both of the following dates:

Lesson 1 Webinars: October 16 and 19
Lesson 2 Webinars: October 23 and 26
Lesson 3 Webinars: October 30* and November 2*
Lesson 4 Webinars: November 6 and 9
Lesson 5 Webinars: November 20 and 23

* On October 30 and November 2, the meeting time
for those in Europe will be 5pm. US time zones will be
the same.

The AAFP has reviewed Validation for Medical Professionals, and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Term of approval is from 10/14/2024 to 11/23/2024. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Validation for Medical Professionals is approved for 7.5 credits for AAFP Prescribed credits.

AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
